OpenAI Ads (ChatGPT Ads) Setup

Measure sales from your ChatGPT ads. TrakIt sends Shopify purchases and refunds to the OpenAI Ads Conversions API from the server.

What you'll need

OpenAI Ads Measurement Pixel IDRequired

Found in your OpenAI Ads Manager under Pixel / Measurement Settings.

Conversions API Access TokenRequired

Generated in OpenAI Ads Manager under Conversions API > Generate Access Token.

Test Event CodeOptional

Use it to check your conversions in real time in the OpenAI Ads Events Manager; remove it when you go live.

Step-by-step setup

  1. In OpenAI Ads Manager, copy your Measurement Pixel ID.
  2. Under Conversions API, generate an access token.
  3. In TrakIt, open Integrations > OpenAI Ads, paste both values and save.
  4. Optionally add a Test Event Code, place a test order and confirm it in Events Manager.
