Awin Setup

Send Shopify sales to Awin server-to-server, so publisher commissions are tracked even when browser cookies are blocked.

What you'll need

Awin Advertiser / Merchant IDRequired

Found in the top-left corner of your Awin Advertiser dashboard.

Awin API TokenOptional

Optional. Without it, TrakIt uses Awin's direct server-to-server endpoint.

Default Commission Group CodeOptional

The commission group configured in Awin (defaults to DEFAULT).

Enable Test ModeOptional

Sends orders with the test flag so you can check the integration without real commissions.

Enable Multi-Channel DeduplicationOptional

Avoids paying commission twice when several channels claim the same sale.

Step-by-step setup

  1. Copy your Advertiser ID from the top-left of your Awin dashboard.
  2. In TrakIt, open Integrations > Awin, enter the ID and save.
  3. Optionally turn on Test Mode, place a test order and check it in Awin, then turn Test Mode off.

These are pre-selected when you connect Awin. You can change them on the platform's page in TrakIt.
