Hotjar Setup

Load Hotjar heatmaps and session recordings on your Shopify store through TrakIt, without editing theme code.

What you'll need

Hotjar Site IDRequired

The numeric Site ID of your store in Hotjar.

Step-by-step setup

  1. In Hotjar, add your Shopify domain as a new site.
  2. Copy the Site ID.
  3. In TrakIt, open Integrations > Hotjar, paste the Site ID and save.

Hotjar loads through the TrakIt app embed, so it must be turned on in your theme.
