Impact.com Setup

Report Shopify sales to your Impact.com affiliate program from the server, so partner commissions don't depend on browser cookies.

What you'll need

Account SIDRequired

Found under Impact > Settings > Technical > API > API Access.

Auth Token / API SecretRequired

Make sure the token has the Conversions scope with POST permission.

Campaign / Program IDRequired

Your numeric Impact program identifier.

Action Tracker ID (Sale)Required

The event type / action tracker ID for online purchases.

UTT ID (Universal Tracking Tag)Required

Found in Settings > Tracking > General.

Custom Tracking DomainOptional

Only if your program uses a branded tracking domain.

Step-by-step setup

  1. In Impact, open Settings > Technical > API > API Access and copy the Account SID and Auth Token.
  2. Copy your Program ID and the Action Tracker ID for online sales.
  3. Copy your UTT ID from Settings > Tracking > General.
  4. In TrakIt, open Integrations > Impact.com, enter the values and save.

These are pre-selected when you connect Impact.com. You can change them on the platform's page in TrakIt.
